The main reason for the huge drops in net worth are because their net worth is estimated by the amount of shares they have in their company so when Google’s share price drops, Larry and Sergey’s net worth drops with it. It is also notable that Roman Abramovich lost $2.5 Billion in 2007 when he split with wife, Irina.
