Hey guys, after months of planning, research and stressful encounters with web designers, businessnoob.com has finally launched. Though more of a silent launch at the moment as i am away for a short while.
Please go check it out, let me know your opinions. Also if you like the posts I'd be very grateful if you were to leave a comment, I'm a real lover of feedback! I look forward to your comments! - Creating Your First Business

I love your design it's consistent throughout the whole website and is simple. I also love the logo, whoever made it is a genius. I like everything, but the only problem for me would be navigation because you have your categories and pages together and also the news category is not there.

Hi Belal,
Thanks for the feedback, Yeah I really do think it's a great design and was created by the very talented Tim Parker over at tprkr.net I understand what you mean about the navigation aspect, though the view to having it the way it is currently is down to the fact the I wanted the site to be seen as more of a resource site then a blog. The navigation will be edited soon however as the order makes little sense!

I love the layout and the color of your blog. It's not boring to look at. You made it in such a way that the reader will instantly spot your articles and click them if they find the titles interesting.

Daniel,
I like your blog design and colors. However, most people will not scroll too far to see your content. When your blog comes up, I only see ONE of your articles. If I find you using google and that article doesn't catch my attention chances are I'm gone. Just something to think about. |

Love the design. Great logo I actually love it.
It flows really nice, but being a designer, I think you should look into these... - Maybe make the footer better? Maybe a full 100% width one at the bottom of the page with 3 columns? Maybe some interesting stuff in it? - When you highlight over the menu, you need to make sure the top bit goes white too. Theres a small black gradient that looks funny. - The gray bit that has the comment count. Maybe you could put that as a comment icon? - On the sidebar you could add a new icons to the left of sections. Like the about could have a perosn icon, and the twitter a bird icon etc? - You could also add small icons like a folder next to what category the blog post is posted in etc? - Love the fonts you use for the site, but maybe you could make titles stand out more? - Also, I think you should improve the comments area (form) and also the way comments are listed? Maybe an admin colour to make admin comments stand out. That would really make your site look a lot better! :P

I'd have to disagree with the 100% footer, 3 columns in the footer with content I can agree with, but none of the rest of the site has 100% content so to add a footer with dynamic width would, to me at least, look out of place.
