Hey Mike,
I like to promote my list by giving away something free in your case it would be your report. So give your report away and at the same time collect subscribers. It's the best way imo, if you're interested in building your feedburner subscribes use the RSS option.
So to clarify use your report to collect email subscribers and RSS subscribers for Feedburner.
