The comment about the media is what struck with me. Many people tend to spam the media without doing the research on what the media want and that can be frustrating . I agree the point Evan made "Be relevant and offer yourself up as an expert. Don’t put out a press release about the new product you launched or the new customer you just landed. The media doesn’t care. Find a topic that is really relevant right now and show the media how you can provide insight into what’s going on. The media is always looking for people to comment and be experts so if you positionyourself properly you’ll be helping them out."

Informative interview Michael.

I totally agree James, I guess this is how MoneySavingExpert.com did it, they don't want to know about his success but rather how he help their viewers!

Thanks Evan, Great Interview!

It's amazing that more and more "internet personalities" are doing TV interviews and being recognised for what they do.

I keep looking at all of the "make money on the internet" blogs and they always seem to do the same thing, i.e. buy my ebook now and make $12'337 in your first month etc. Evan says to sell premium content in the same way that Envato does with psdtuts, nettuts etc.

Takes a while to get there, to get the readership etc.
